GetGlue successor TVtag is shutting down

.@GetGlue Successor @tvtag is shutting down

Social TV service TVtag, which was previously known as GetGlue, is shutting down at the end of the year. TVtag announced the shutdown in an email to users Friday afternoon, which stated that users had just a few days left to manually request the export of their data by emailing the TVtag team.

The email reads, in part:

“Later this month, we will be shutting down tvtag and its supporting apps in order to refocus our efforts on other initiatives. (…) We’re grateful for all your support over the last four years. You’ve helped us build an incredible community of fellow TV fans. We’ll miss it dearly.”

TVtag’s website and Twitter account have yet to be updated to acknowledge the shutdown.

Google Announced “Android Wear” Operating System for Smartwatches

Google telah mengumumkan Android Wear, sebuah versi sistem operasi mobile-nya diperuntukkan bagi smartwatches dan perangkat wearables lainnya. Menurut Google di official blog-nya, mereka sudah bekerjasama dengan beberapa industri elektronik seperti Asus, HTC, LG, Motorola dan Samsung serta pabik pembuat chip Boradcom, Imagination, Intel, Mediatek dan Qualcomm. Saat ini Android Wear lebih fokus ke smartwatches dan saat ini sudah bekerja sama dengan salah satu fashion brands Fosil Group.

Android Wear berfokus pada notification yang cepat untuk menampilkan informasi yang diperlukan pengguna smartwatches sekaligus mengurangi interaksi yang minimum dengan perangkat.  Berikut katalog yang diberikan Android Wear dari blognya:

  • Useful information when you need it most. Android Wear shows you info and suggestions you need, right when you need them. The wide variety of Android applications means you’ll receive the latest posts and updates from your favorite social apps, chats from your preferred messaging apps, notifications from shopping, news and photography apps, and more.

A Wonderful Apps for iOS Device “Cameo” Just Became Part of “Vimeo”

Pernah menggunakan aplikasi video editing “Cameo” di iPhone? Aplikasi ini memang sangat menarik dan mudah sekali menggunakannya, mulai dari shooting, editing, menambahkan musik background sampai penggunaan efek-efek video dan share atau upload secara instant. Facebook Introduce the Facebook Messenger for Android Beta Testing Program

Facebook hari ini mengumumkan lewat Enginering Blog program beta testing Facebook Messenger for Android yang memungkinkan pengguna Android yang berminat membantu Facebook mencoba terlebih dahulu versi beta sebelum rilis resmi ke publik.  Sebelumnya di bulan Juni tahun lalu Facebook sudah meluncurkan program yang sama an kali ini Facebook menjanjikan akan update perbaikan setiap minggu dari masukan peserta beta testing ini.

WhatsApp Messenger For iPhone Update V.2.11.8 With New Privacy Setting





WhatsApp, salah satu aplikasi instant messenger ternama yang beberapa waktu lalu diakuisisi Facebook senilai $19 Billion hari ini merilis update terbaru aplikasi bagi pengguna iPhone terutama yang memiliki OS 4.3 ke atas. Seperti update terbaru kemarin buat pengguna Android dan BlackBerry 10, kali ini update mengutamakan tambahan Setting Privacy pengguna.
